Maryland Association of Resources for Families and Youth
MARFY, in partnership with the Community College of Baltimore County at Catonsville, will continue offering courses toward the Child and Youth Care Practitioner Certificate Program
this Spring!!!
We are currently seeking a minimum of 30 students to register for the classes, “Introduction to the Field of Child and Youth Care” and “Life Skills Development” for the Spring 2008 semester to be used toward the Child and Youth Care Practitioner Certificate Program
Who: Direct Care Workers who would like to improve their knowledge and skills in the field and prospective child and youth care workers looking to enter the field
When: Spring 2007- 15 week session, classes to occur every Wednesday afternoon beginning late January and ending in May
Where: CCBC-Catonsville, Dundalk, Eastern Shore and online

Price: Tuition is approximately $300 per student per course. MARFY members will receive this in-county tuition regardless of the county the student lives or works.

MARFY is a non-profit 501(c)3 association of child and family services agencies throughout Maryland. MARFY's membership is made up of 55 private sector agencies providing services through nearly two-hundred programs across the State. Services are provided in group homes, treatment centers, shelters, alternative schools, day treatment programs, independent living programs, treatment family foster homes and intensive in-home services for children living with their families.
VISION: MARFY will be the pre-eminent voice for Maryland’s children, youth and families who stand in need.
