Certified Special Education Teachers
This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers who want to use integrated curriculums and a team approach to plan and carry out a therapeutically designated program to meet the academic and social/emotional needs of emotionally disturbed children. One to One Student Tutors

Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work or other related field from an accredited university and certification/licensure as an LGSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC or other recognized licensure/certification. County Executive Isiah Leggett is seeking applicants to fill three vacancies on the Local Management Board (also known as the Collaboration Council for Children, Youth, and Families) for private sector members. The Board is comprised of nine private sector members and 12 members representing public child-serving agencies.
Private sector applicants may be advocates for services to children, youth and families, providers of services for children and families (employees of private non-profit agencies that receive County or Collaboration Council funding are ineligible), parents of children who receive or have recently received services of the type funded by the Local Management Board, individuals between 18 and 25 years old, business owners and managers, leaders of civic and community service organizations, or leaders of religious organizations.
The primary function of the Local Management Board, which directs all aspects of the Collaboration Council’s programs, management and finances, is to ensure the implementation of a local, interagency service delivery system for children, youth and families. In collaboration with families, service providers, policy makers, community leaders, and others, the Local Management Board is responsible for assessing community needs, identifying priorities, targeting resources, and monitoring service delivery to ensure that children and families get the services and support they need.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday every other month from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Rockville. Members are expected to serve on committees of the Board.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Possession of a master's degree in social work from a college or university approved by the Council on Social Work Education.
Experience: Six (6) years of Child Welfare professional experience in a social work
capacity in a public or private agency or institution, three (3) years of which must have been in an administrative, supervisory or consultative capacity.
License: Employees are required to be licensed as a certified social worker (LCSW) or certified social worker-clinical (LCSW-C) by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners or licensed as social workers by an out-of state licensing board at a level comparable to the LCSW or LCSW-C.

Develop and maintain an in-house resource manual and monthly resource calendar. This includes providing training to staff on the utilization of community resources.
Ensure that agency is HIPPA compliant and that all staff members are appropriately trained on HIPPA law. This will be facilitated in coordination with the director of Operations.

Seeking a licensed THERAPIST to join our Children's Diagnostic Treatment Center, 2041 E. Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD.
The Children's Diagnostic Treatment Center provides short term residential care and evaluative services to children and youth who are referred by DSS for issues of abuse, abandonment, and emotional/behavioral disturbance.
Under the supervision of the Program Director (LCSW-C), will work with team of other Master's Level therapists and Unit Coordinators by providing case management, reviews of clients with referring agencies, completing psychosocial reports and other behavioral assessments, and conducting group therapy.
Will work weekdays, 9am - 5pm with some flex-time evening and weekend hours based on program needs.
Requirements
-MSW degree
-LGSW or LCSW-C from Maryland BSWE, or LGPC from Maryland BPC
-Prior clinical experience (will accept internship experience).
-Prior experience in case management and with children in crisis.
-Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills.

The nurse will report directly the Nursing Supervisor. Responsibilities to include the delivery of nursing services, including medication management, routine medical care, performing physical assessments and crisis intervention.
Requires RN, licensed in Maryland. MS/HS dual certification a plus.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
The Woodbourne Center is an accredited non-profit agency with a 200+ year history of serving the needs of Maryland's disadvantaged and emotionally at-risk children. We operate five programs at three locations in Baltimore, with 240 employees. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant in our Finance Department. This person will run and review financial reports, provide liaison with auditors and funding agencies, assist with budget preparation and analysis, account reconciliation, month/year end closings, and special projects as assigned. Requires B.S. in Accounting , 3+ years experience in accounting role, experience and skills with Great Plains report writer, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Tuition reimbursement for graduate study is also available after 6 months. Convenient location in Towson with free parking and easy access to I-695 beltway.
EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
This position will provide administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and Administration and finance department functions.
Duties include scheduling meetings, preparing distribution of financial statements, administering purchase orders, handling confidential correspondence, and assisting finance department staff with routine and special projects. Purchase order responsibilities will include researching best prices and vendors, monitoring usage and re-order status. Will also be trained to provide back-up on payroll administration.
Requirements:
-High School diploma; some college preferred.
- 5 years of administrative assistant/ secretarial experience, with at least 2 years in support of senior management functions.
-Experience in finance department strongly preferred.
-Experience with purchase orders strongly preferred.
