Your membership in the Maryland Association of Resources for Families and Youth (MARFY) means you are part of a dedicated organization that speaks out for children and families and programs that serve them and our collective influence on public policy is stronger because you have joined with other private, nonprofit service providers, advocates and business leaders to identify, develop, implement and urge support for efficient and effective services for Maryland’s most vulnerable children, families and individuals.

MARFY Board & Committees – there are opportunities to become a Board member or be part of many committees within MARFY. This is a chance to expand your knowledge in diverse areas and to contribute your expertise.
Professional Development – MARFY provides a variety of continuing education opportunities through conferences, workshops and seminars. Members receive discounted registration fees to all educational events.
Public Policy – MARFY is your voice in Public Policy, testifying at important hearings on legislation affecting the child care provider community, making policy makers aware of the needs of disabled and disadvantaged children and their families, and maintaining cooperative working relationships with advocates and public agencies serving children, youth and families.
Information and Research – Through electronic communications and our website, we will keep you informed on Federal and State, Executive and Legislative actions affecting service providers, grant and funding opportunities, conferences and workshops, program development opportunities and other important information.
Consultation and Assistance – MARFY provides consultation and assistance in areas including administration, program development, personnel management, staff development, long-term strategic planning and board development.
Provider Services – MARFY’s Corporate Members are businesses that not only support the work of MARFY and its member agencies, but also offer members services and goods at discounts or special rates.
