"As
a provider of non-residential services,
I was reluctant at first to join MARFY... I can honestly say that the benefits (access to government and elected officials, technical assistance, the peer network and specialized training for staff) our organization received may be the single most important reason for CCYD's enduring success...
(These benefits) can't be found anywhere else."

MARFY Training Academy Policies & Procedures
(approved by MARFY’s Board of Directors on January 14, 2010)
REGISTRATION POLICY
- Registrations for Training Academy workshops WILL NOT be accepted over the phone. The hard-copy registration form may be submitted via fax (410-312-3163) or email (vholt@marfy.org), or registrations may be completed using the online registration form (http://marfy.org/Forms/trainingregistration.html).
- Registrants are responsible for confirming registration status. MARFY will send two emails to training registrants. The first will be an acknowledgement email to acknowledge that the registration was received; this email will be sent no later than 3 business days after the registration has been processed. The second email will be a confirmation of attendance. This email will be sent on the day following the registration deadline of the workshop. If a registrant does not attend a workshop for which they registered because they claim they did not receive a confirmation email, they will be charged the full registration fee for that workshop.
- Registration deadlines, unless otherwise specified in the MARFY Training Academy Catalog, are one calendar week prior to the date of the workshop. Registration forms received after the deadline are subject to a penalty fee of 20% of the registration fee for each individual registering after the deadline.
- Registrants must indicate the method of payment and list a valid email address for registrations to be considered complete. Confirmations and communications regarding MARFY training workshops will be sent via email. Registrants are responsible for providing a valid email address and for checking for communications from MARFY via email.
- NonMembers are required to pay in advance with a credit card or by submitting a check with their registration forms. No registration forms will be accepted from NonMembers if payment is not included.
